About Us
Pupil Premium
In April 2011 the Government introduced the Pupil Premium Grant to provide additional funding to support disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. Every pupil in receipt of free school meals in the last 6 years, Looked after Children and those children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces also attract the grant.
Schools have the freedom to spend the Pupil Premium, which is additional to the underlying schools budget, in a way they think will best support the raising of attainment for the most vulnerable pupils.
Below you will find Bishop Ramsey's Policy some Case Studies and our Strategy Document which includes an overview of spending in the last academic year.
Progress of our GCSE Pupil Premium students for Summer 2019 was positive and validated data on their performance will be available in January 2020.
We have a COVID-19 catch up spending plan which can be viewed below. Please click here for further COVID-19 information and guidance.
